I have to login with SSH and to stop and start the Samba server to repair this. When I stop the Samba server I get the message:
-Stopping Samba daemons: nmbdstart-stop-daemon: warning: failed to kill 5840: No such process smbd.
In the Samba logfiles I notice a problem in log.nmdb:
Somehow a part of Samba shuts down after a while if the router is off.*****
[2008/12/31 00:09:17, 0] nmbd/nmbd.c:reload_interfaces(231)
reload_interfaces: No subnets to listen to. Shutting down...

This did not happen when I was running Debian-Sarge. I am scanning the Samba documentation to solve this but does somebody mayby have a hint?
