uvcvideo webcam support please

I'd like to use my original Bubba to serve up images from a Logitech QuickCam Communicate MP. It works fine under newer kernels using the uvcvideo driver.

Do you know from which kernel the uvcvideo driver is supported? We do have complete kernels source up to 2.6.20 for Bubba. But newer than that would require some coding work.
