I have just bought the bubba 2 server. I am trying to ssh into the server and have added a user to do this. However it will connect but does not recognise the password.

The bubba user screen shows that shell_login not allowed but I definitely made it so that you could. You cannot edit the field in the users edit field.

I have tried using ssh from my mepis linux machine and putty from my XP and linux machines.

Ideas?

I experienced the same problem. For no reason ssh login is suddenly not possible. Also the checkbox to enable ssh login disappeared.............
(software version displayed is 2.03)

Update: seems to be ok again. Don't know why, most likely lack of experience from my side.........

I have sent an email to Excito for an explanation but no reply - is this normal?

So I have found the answer.

I have been using the Google Chrome browser. So it works on IE and Firefox but not on Chrome.
