nginx php-fpm

Hi there,
I am using my bubba for local drupal 7 (php) development / testing and apache is just way too slow (everything works though, but very slow). So I read somewhere that nginx - php-fpm are much faster. I got nginx working without any problem but then I'm instructed to install php5-fpm but that package isn't found.
Should I be looking at any other packages or do you have other suggestions ?
