Hello all.

I hope someone can tell me what I am missing.
I am setting up the print server on my new bubba. Everything else seems to be working nicely.

I log in as administrator, go to printing, Bubba sees both my printers (HP 5150 and HP1220 on an un-powered USB hub), I add them, and log out.

I expected to see them in "My network Places" on the XP box, but they are not there. Home and Storage are there.

I am sure I have missed something, having only a little knowledge of networking. XP is in the MSHOME group, maybe it should be in excito?

So many questions, just wait till I try to get PCLinuxOS box to talk nicely with XP and Bubba :)

Is'nt it funny that as soon as you ask for help, you find the solution?

I rummaged arround in XP to add a printer, found the excito network and there they were! and it works!

So it must be the good karma of the forum. thanks to all :D
