Hello,
My B3 NAS will not boot. After 1 X power was gone, it no longer works. The light is purple. I tried to install without any data disappear:
# Should installer partition disk
# 1 ‐ Yes
# 0 ‐ No
#
# If no there has to be three partitions on disk:
# sda1 ‐ System partition
# sda2 ‐ Data partition
# sda3 ‐ Swap partition
PARTITION=0
# Should installer format data partition
#
# 1 ‐ Yes, do format
# 0 ‐ No, leave intact
#
# If no, there has to be a sda2 data partition on the disk
# (System partition will always be reformatted on an install)
Unfortunately, it does not start again. Is there something more i can do?
Greetings from Germany
Isabel

Re: My B3 NAS will not boot
Okay, your B3 does not boot anymore and is stuck at purple-light.
Can you remove the harddisk from the B3 and mount it on another system to inspect the status of the partition-table, filesystems and data itself?
Alternatively you can try to boot a Rescue-USB-System and then inspect the disk this way, in case you do not have a way to connect the disk to another system.

I changed the date in bios and build 10586 and had no trouble connecting to the NAS. It seems the date should not be a problem.
I'm going to re-install 10074 one more time...
